What does a web site cost?
Well that all depends on what you're looking for.

I try to keep my sites affordable for everyone. I don't charge any monthly maintenance fees or set up fees. The price I quote you before I start is what you can expect to pay at the end. If you decide to make changes during the design process your quote will change at that time. You will always know what your final figure will be.


Custom Sites
All of my sites are done from scratch, no templates are used. Through consultation with you I will get an idea of what you're looking for and try to design something around that premise. If you're not happy, neither am I.

You can expect to pay around $200.00 for a small site with up to three pages (although the amount of pages does not determine the bottom price)

For an average sized site a suitable estimate would be $400.00 - $600.00 CDN. Prices increase depending on size, content, graphics and additional programming requirements.

 

What Affects Website
Prices and Rates?
There are a few other factors that
will affect the price of your website.

  • Text Copy: Having to enter large amounts of text from paper documents is a time consuming process. Providing your material in electronic format will save me time and you money. The text can even be provided by email.
  • Changing your mind: The graphic design process is one of the most time consuming jobs when creating your site. If you change your mind after you have agreed to your initial design layout you can expect to pay a higher rate than what your were quoted.
  • Graphic design work: You can expect to pay a little extra if your site requires lots of graphic design(s), scripting or flash.

Domain Name & Hosting
Initial set up for hosting and your domain name registration runs from $4.99 to $9.99 per month. I use One And One Internet Hosting Services. I have most of my sites hosted through them and they have proven to be reliable and trustworthy. I set your account up in your name, you are the owner of the domain and have access to your files at any time. Hosting fee's are billed to you quarterly by One and One. They are an American based company so prices are billed to you in US funds.

Weekly (and monthly) Web Site Statistics can be sent right to your inbox showing you...

  • How many visitors are coming to your web site each day/week/month
  • Which of your web pages are the most popular
